  • Participants will embark on an approximate 4.45miruck march in Greenville, MI starting and ending at Family Farm & Home.

  • Each participants will receive a 12”x18” American flag to carry and are encouraged (but not required) to carry a weighted rucksack, vest, or backpack.

  • A portion of all proceeds of this even will be donated to this years dedicated non profit, K9 Camo Companions.

Event Details

Who is this event for?

We first started this event in 2024 with the intention of simply bringing the community together in American spirit. This year we wanted it to mean a little more. We are dedicating a portion of the proceeds of this event to a local Michigan non profit, K9 Camo Companions. Operating out of Sparta, they are doing meaningful work by connecting veterans with carefully selected companion dogs.

Can I donate extra K9 Camo Companions?

Day of the event, there will be a booth for their organization that you will absolutely be able to make additional donations to.

Who can participate?

Everyone! Participants of all fitness levels are welcome to join, as long as they are able to walk 4.5mi. Weight is optional. This is not a competitive event, so there will be no awarded winners.

Can I be a sponsor for this event?

Yes! Sponsorships help us make this event possible. Sponsors allow us to cover our costs, provide free entry to Veterans and active military members, purchase flags, and promote American pride in our community on the 4th. Additionally, a percentage of every sponsorship will be dedicated to the non profit organization we have chosen to sponsor this year.

Can I bring my dog?

Please do! Dogs are welcome on the course as long as they are leashed and friendly.

What should I bring?

Weather appropriate attire and your own water. There are no aid stations on the course, so please keep that in mind. A 12”x18” flag will be given to registered participants, but if you’d like to bring a larger American flag to walk with, you can! (Please also bring poop-bags for your puppy friends so we can keep a clean trail.)
